The National Livestock Program (NLP), a cohesive group of government agencies and field offices, shall serve as the driver and catalyst for the accelerated growth and sustainable development of the livestock and poultry subsectors thru the formulation of comprehensive policy, preparation of plans, and implementation of programs, projects and activities in consultation and partnership with the private sector and other stakeholders along the value chain.
