2 August 2021 — Luntian Multi-Purpose Cooperative (MPC) received 180 heads of native chicken from the Department of Agriculture IV-CALABARZON (DA-4A) Quezon Agricultural Research and Experiment Station (QARES) Livestock Unit on July 28.
The distribution of native chicken aims to provide livelihood assistance to the members of the cooperative, especially to the hog raisers affected by the African Swine Fever (ASF).
“Nagpapasalamat po kami sa DA sa ibinigay para sa mga miyembro ng aming kooperatiba. Amin pong sisiguruhin na mapagtatagumpayan namin ang pagpaparami ng mga ito hanggang sa lahat ng mga miyembro ng Luntian ay magkaroon ng kanilang native chicken,” Dennis Tumbaga, Chairperson of Luntian MPC, promised.
